Adult Programs

Adults find valuable support, strength and skills through several programs at the Center.

Shower Program
Our longest running program, the Shower Program, helps homeless men and women each week. Read more here.

Health Clinics
Two free health clinics are held at SMC, one in the morning and one at night. Our morning clinic for homeless individuals happens one day each week and is staffed by a Care Alliance nurse. Our evening clinic for adults without access to health care services, happens three times a month and is staffed by registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and doctors.

Sewing with Friends
Once a week adults learn the basics of sewing, share lunch and support.

Soup & God
Over lunch, men in transition connect with God, each other and their own strength, bi-monthly.

Women on the Move
A lunch and support group for women to build friendships and self respect, bi-monthly.

Holiday Assistance
Assistance program for families  with during Thanksgiving and Christmas with food and gifts as available; engagement in service projects as well as holiday activities.
